This is a marine ecosystem that is protected under the EU’s NATURA 2000 policy. It is an incredible location, rich in flora and fauna, meaning that you will be able to spot some birds and animals such as cormorants and seagulls. You might even be lucky enough to spot a dolphin or two in their natural habitat.
As you head over to Archangels’ Monastery, you will sail by Giola, a natural-shaped pool formation housed among the rocks. At Archangel's Monastery, you will get to enjoy its secluded beach and marvel at the sight of turquoise waters as you prepare for lunch.
After lunch, the boat will anchor in Aliki. Here, Phoenicians used to quarry marble and load it on their ships. You will get to swim in crystal clear water next to the open quarries where fresh and seawater mixes. You will then visit the Roman theatre and enjoy the view of the open sea from the Byzantine church ruins.
On the way back we shall stop for an afternoon dessert and swim in Psili Ammos beach or Notos bay, a fully hidden and secluded location located close by.
