Your excursion will involve a visit to various sites. Firstly, a visit to the archaeological museum in Limenas. Here, you will find 18 galleries and over 1700 objects and collections that date back as far as the 7th century B.C. to the 7th century A.D. It is an establishment that holds so much Greek history, and is perfect for the enthusiast, or just for those out for sightseeing. An interesting fact about the museum- it has an underground space with ruins that date back to the classical and Roman eras. Another interesting fact- on eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the archaeological museum of Limenas is the most significant of its kind. The tour will also involve a stop at other sites such as ancient Agora, an ancient structure that dates back to the 4th century B.C. This place was discovered by the French archaeological school, with excavations beginning in 1948 and ending in 1955. Ancient Agora is an incredible place to visit. All our excursions abide by the stipulated health and safety measures regarding COVID-19. From the time the driver shows up at your pickup location to when they drop you off, all standards specified by the health ministry will be observed. You are urged to follow all ministry of health regulations. All the areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned. The van is accessible by wheelchair. As such, the trip can accommodate interested parties who might be using wheelchairs. We do not provide any child seats, meaning that infants will have to sit on laps. This means that an adult must accompany all children on the trip. Minimal hiking might be required, so please do keep that in mind. However, most tourists can still enjoy the excursion.
Hotel pickup is only available at specific hotels within the central area of Thassos island. As such, please be sure to make inquiries ahead of time. You will confirm whether your hotel is included on the list. If they are not, we will walk you through how we can organize for pickup.
